Just steps from Niagara Falls State Park, our staff is armed with a host of knowledge and will be sure to provide visitors with the vital information on where to stay, what to eat, where to shop and how to find tickets to all of Niagara USA's popular attractions, historic sights and events that will make your Niagara USA one to remember.

Visitors to the 8,400 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will find multimedia displays, brochures, walking and city maps, luggage storage, tour referrals and free wireless Internet at their disposal. Whether you are looking to create a detailed itinerary, or are just passing through Niagara USA, our facility will provide you with information to make the most of your trip. The visitor center is open 7 days a week.

Niagara Falls State Park

• Each year, 8 million people visit the Frederick Law Olmsted designed park, to experience the majesty of Niagara Falls in a natural setting. U.S. Customhouse

The U.S. Customhouse is the future site for the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Interpretive Center. A few steps from the Whirlpool Bridge, visitors can access the Whirlpool Rapids Gorge Trail leading to the Niagara River. At this location, the Niagara Suspension Bridge was built in 1848, connecting the United States to Canada. Harriet Tubman, leader of the Underground Railroad, crossed the suspension bridge bringing people escaping slavery in the Deep South to freedom in Canada.

Did you know?

A now famous book was written about Lewiston's role in the Underground Railroad, called Freedom Crossing, by Margaret Goff Clark, and is read by thousands of grade school students across the United States every year.  The Freedom Crossing Monument commemorates the Underground Railroad movement in Lewiston and was dedicated on October 14, 2009.
