About Lewiston Museum
The Village of Lewiston is often referred to as “The Most Historic Square Mile in America”--with good reason. The long history of Lewiston includes Native American history, early European exploration and settlement, War of 1812 events, Underground Railroad sites and stories, and an ongoing relationship with its close neighbor, Canada. The Lewiston Museum is housed in a former church and is operated by the Historical Association of Lewiston. The museum is open from June through August.
